VICTORIAN MEAT PASTE POT

VICTORIAN MEAT PASTE POT

£6.00Price

Meat and fish paste pots were extremely common in the Victorian era when meat and fish weren't as widely available as today. The meat and fish were made into a paste which Victorians could spread onto bread or whatever took their fancy and these ceramic jars were used to store and sell the produce.

Some were embellished with their proprioters branding, however, this one is without and this simple white pot could be used for a number of modern uses.

This one is 10cm wide and 5cm high.
